Triplett Financial Group attracts clients with a “deal with it now” mindset — the same attitude Mark Triplett developed after battling thyroid cancer at age 15. His personal experience shaped a step-by-step planning process that identifies potential cracks early and empowers clients to take corrective action before it’s too late.

With a strong belief in character, hard work, and first-generation wealth, Mark brings a farm-raised ethic to his client relationships and community involvement. Today, he’s a trusted advisor to financial professionals nationwide and continues to make a positive impact both in the industry and in Polk City, Iowa, where he lives with his family.

Founder & President

Troy brings a background in law enforcement, carrying his commitment to structure and integrity into his leadership at Triplett-Westendorf Financial Group. Inspired by his uncle’s impact in retirement planning, Troy adopted a math- and science-based approach to guide clients toward reliable lifetime income.

As a trained strength and conditioning professional, he values personal wellness and encourages clients to invest in both their financial and physical health. His dedication to service, ethics, and long-term well-being continues to enrich the lives of clients and their families. Troy’s greatest joy is his own family, with whom he shares a deep passion for community and lasting impact across generations.

Director of Operations

Breanna keeps the office running smoothly by handling day-to-day tasks, helping clients, and answering calls and emails so our financial planners can focus on their work. She manages supplies, paperwork, applications, and makes sure every client feels like family. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her husband Coty, their son Cooper, their three Australian Shepherds, and their chickens. Whether she’s gardening, biking, relaxing by the pool, or spending time with Jesus, family is at the heart of everything she does.

Administrative Assistant

Stacey assists in handling all day-to-day duties at Triplett-Westendorf Financial. Anything from interacting with clients, phone calls, and paperwork, to assisting our advisors, she ensures that the office continues to operate as a well-oiled machine. When you call the office, Stacey will be one of the friendly voices you may encounter. She is happy to answer questions and point you in the right direction! Stacey likes to spend her free time outside of the office golfing with either her husband Bill or with the girls. She also enjoys hanging out with her three children and their families, including her grandchildren Theo and Tillie. If she’s not on the golf course, she’s probably enjoying a sunny day at the pool or walking her dog, Marcie.

Marketing/Events Coordinator

Hannah brings creativity and strategy to her role as Marketing Coordinator at Triplett-Westendorf Financial. With a passion for branding, social media, and community engagement, Hannah helps the company resonate with the right audience. Whether it’s crafting compelling content, coordinating events, or building relationships, she thrives on finding innovative ways to connect with clients.

Outside of work, Hannah enjoys spending time with her animals, riding her horses, and exploring new places. She has a deep love for travel and is always on the hunt for unique dining experiences, trying new foods wherever she goes!

Event Coordinator

Brenda handles all our event planning for Triplett-Westendorf Financial group.  Between holiday parties, client appreciation events and our educational workshops, she is sure to make it a spectacular event!  If you have been to one of our events, you will see that she enjoys all things social!  Brenda also puts together the welcome to our firm baskets that we send out to all our new clients that go through the PT5 retirement planning process.

Outside of the office she loves spending time with her husband Troy, her daughter Breanna, son-in-law Coty, and her grandson Cooper.  Brenda is Coopers daycare provider and loves every minute of it.  From playing with his toys, reading books, going on walks, playing in the park, spending time at pool and doing weekly activities at the public library, she tries to keep his days full of fun things to do.

When Brenda is not watching Cooper, you will find her on the Briarwood golf course or a nearby pickle ball court.  She also enjoys time spent with her friends, teaching dance fitness and cooking.

Owner & President of Elite Insurance

Chris Nicol is the owner and president of Elite Insurance Solutions, LLC. With 13 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry, he remains focused on the unique needs and goals of his clients. Chris and the team serve a select group of businesses and families to build and maintain the lifestyle they have worked hard for.

Chris holds insurance licenses in Iowa Life, Health, Disability, Commercial and Personal Lines Property and Casualty Insurance License. He also holds Non-resident Life and Property Casualty Licenses in Nebraska, Minnesota.

Chris grew up in Ankeny, Iowa, where he learned the value of hard work, honesty and integrity from his parents, who have run their own business together for more than 35 years. He is an active member in the Ankeny Young Professionals, the Ankeny Uptown Association, Ankeny Golf & Country Club, and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).
